About the Author and Illustrator

Shauna Nicholson-Kelly and her husband Jim Kelly have been married since 2014. They moved from Los Angeles to Nashville, Tennessee to raise their daughter, who came to them after years of infertility treatments, a hysterectomy and finally success with a surrogate and donor. Nicholson-Kelly has spent 25 years working as the personal house manager for some of the biggest names in Hollywood and Entertainment. 

Maris June Findling has been creating art of all kinds since she was a little chick. Now 13 years old, she spends as much time as she possibly can drawing and painting. She also loves sewing, cooking, the forest and the beach. She lives in Bend, Oregon with her family.
